Funny things you say as a Mom

Oh these are just great!!

I think my favorite was actually said by my my son when he was about 12.

I was getting ready to go to the theatre one night and I had this crazy velvet outfit on with these big plastic dice buttons. I wasn't to sure if it was over the top so I asked my son how it looked and his reply was.....

"It's ok to buy your clothes from a thrift store but it's not ok to look like you buy your clothes at a thrift store."

Often said to my 4 & 7 year olds.

"You guys are wearing me out, I think I will have to trade you in for new ones." (No Mom, No!)

After a boo boo with much drama. "Oh my Gosh, we need to go straight to the hospital, I think you need a hand (foot, finger, arm, knee) transplant!" After much giggling they deem themselves okay!

Yes, the threat of the "anti-whine" or "bad case of the no-listens" shot has worked a few times.
