Mrs. Brandt seems to have been the previous / original owner, and the initials would have been hers. There's also a date, Nov. 64 - not sure though if that would have been the date she had it made or if that was for another purpose. From what I see, there is still a company around that is called Maximilian Furs, but unfortunately they have no company history online to see if that is the same one.
