Goucho pant suit - material and date ?s

Pretty wild, huh? Much shinier in person and I'm wondering if there is a particular name for this material other than metallic brocade with enormous gold paisleys? And, is this late 60s or are we into the 70s?

Merci milles fois!!!

Velcome to my harem...

It has a foil look to it - thanks. I guess the pic makes it look halter - I can't zip it up on the manni cause it's uber tiny.

Any bids on date - 60s, 70s?

What a great find! I love it!

Madame Nitpicker is back. They're not gaucho pants, either, which are below the knee but not nearly so long as these. Midcalf at most. And they're not gathered at the bottom.

I'm with MS -- "harem" is a great keyword.

Thanks, ya'll! And thanks too for nitpicking, MC - I'm challenged today. When I wrote the title to the thread I was thinking jumpsuit, but pant suit came out. Had the listing ready mid afternoon, clicked something and everything disappeared, but it's up now!

Here it is Linn: http://tiny.cc/imgIB

Deborah, that is simply stunning! Ca-ching, ca-ching!!! And harem-pant jumpsuit sounds very accurate.

I think you can safely call this a lame' fabric. There are so many connotations to "lame'," but one definition is brocaded fabric with metallic threads. Then there is liquid lame--which is what I think most people think of when they hear the word. (Some think of lame' as merely a metallic thread, but it's really fabric interwoven with metallic threads throughout.)

Perhaps a "brocaded lame'" or "lame' brocade."
