I bought these because I fell in love with the great color. Are these 1910ish?

Inside, one boot is stamped "Vanity Boot"

The other has the maker's stamp, but I can't make it out. Dorothy????

    Any insights?

I would think these are a titch later, more like 1916 - 1917ish. The higher the boot the later the date (generally speaking), as the height of the boot keeps up with the length of the hemline until about 1919 and shoes start becoming more popular. THe boots with the decorative toplines become less fashionable after 1917, so I think 1916/17 is a good bet for these, also their colour is very wartime fashionable.

And i was considering these for my 1899 green wool walking suit, but I think the green is not forest enough.
