Happy Birthday Elton John!-The VFG Fashion Parade for the week of March 22nd

I have no vintage fashions suitable for this parade, but have to share that we saw him in 1973 at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines where he played a bunch of songs that he released for the Yellow Brick Road album. To this day, it was the absolute best live concert and performance that I've ever ever experienced. He came back on stage for at least 3 standing ovations, it was WILD and so fun! just love him!!

this is a Central Park concert he gave 7 years after we saw him, the energy was so amazing!!!

Nothing currently in my shop quite this fabulous, but I have some previously sold items that might work for Sir Elton.

Hey Mary! I saw him twice in the ye old 70s. What an incredible showman!

I saw him live in Honolulu a couple of times - not sure exactly when - I think in the early '80s and maybe '90s. I saw him by himself in Neiman Marcus, Honolulu - that store opened in 1998 or 1999. "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Candle in the Wind" are two of my all time favorites. This is probably the only piece (it's sold) I ever had that he might have worn:

You nailed it Sunny!
LOL. Thanks. Y'know a year ago, someone bought something from me to use in an Elton John tribute show in NYC, (it was canceled due to covid) so they sent it back and now I can't remember what it was!!:duh2:
