Happy Mother\'s Day - Photo Gallery

Happy Mother's Day, moms!!

Let's share.
Proudly post photos of you, your kids, your mom, etc.
Especially vintage photos, or wearing vintage, of course.
Enjoy!

Here's one of me & Laurel 2 years ago @ Disneyland.

Here's Laurel last week just before the 7th grade dance (the theme was "rock star.")

Ooops! Sorry that was a huge photo - resized!

Here's one of my mom, circa '58 or '59. She's on the left, seated:

It's a newspaper clipping, talking about how the Junior Women's Club is putting on plays for pre-teens. My mom was a drama student in h.s. and wanted to be an actress but got married instead. I've always been amused/bothered that the caption calls her "Mrs Brian" like she has no name. This clipping has been on the bulletin board above my desk at my shop since I opened. It's a good thing, because it I'd had it at home it would be dust. We may or may not have any pictures of my dad.

Here's mom, close up. In her day, she was quite a beauty.

I'm pretty sure I've shown this before. But here I am with my three sons (and my honey) in our very vintage family portrait from last summer

My Mom and me and my Brother Big Foot in the oven. If she had a clue he would grow to be 6 foot five I bet she would not be smiling!

My parent's wedding with both sets of grandparents - August 1953. And yes, I have the dress. I wish I had my dad's suit.

All these beautiful pictures!

Our Mothers' Day in the UK was a while back, but I thought you might enjoy mum's moment of fame in Good Housekeeping three years ago:

What a lot of interesting and beautiful photos! Happy Mother's Day, all!!

This is my mother on her 6th birthday, in 1926:

I wrote about her (and show a number of photos of her) in my blog at this time last year, Flowers for my mother. I miss her so much, especially on Mother's Day.

Aww.... thread brought tears to my eyes. Here are two shots of my Mom in the 60's. She called herself "the dragon lady" and told me once that there are two kinds of mothers - work horses or race horses ..."And dear, you got a race horse." Wish I had her dress in the second photo. (She always carried a fan.)

love this thread and all the wonderful photographs. I haven't got some of the best images handy, but here's my mum (right) and her friend in St. Louis, 1958:
