no labels, and i have quite a few of these in exactly the same packaging. There are super fine linen = i really like them !!!!
 
i dont think so as i have different sizes and colors - i am pretty sure hankies were always sold in their own little envelopes (about 30 years ago!!) as thats how i always got mine from the better department stores..ie harrods never bought anything from usa in that time...

just noticed the pic of the actual hankies didnt show up - ill try post it again
 
im pretty sure it is - i have another one that is a large white linen one and then a pair in a different checked design...i really like them and wish i could find more - the fabric is amazing!!!
 
i think these survived cos they are not used! i tried to upload a pic of the others but it didnt work...i do have them on my site though
i love hankies!!!

Those are lovely. Marston's was a wonderful store, quite upscale, with the best of things. I have 2 hats from Marstons and they are 2 of the finest quality hats I have ever seen. I don't know the history of the store, haven't researched them at all. Just that anything I have ever had with their name on it was the very best.
