Haskell or Czech wood brooch?

Hi all!

I picked up this cute brooch in the thrifts the other day and I was curious about the origins, could it be Haskell or a Czech wood brooch?

The back is covered with a flat metal plate, the dyed wood beads are attached to a pierced metal back, not filigree. I loved the tiny brass findings and chains and I thought it was interesting. I will say the dyed wood is quite faded and is coming up much dingier in the photos with my phone.

I just ordered one of the Haskell books so it's on the way.

At the top of the page you can click on: "Sign the Guestbook" and ask your question. I am not sure how frequently she checks, and don't think you can post a photo. Back in the day when we were both very active on the JC (Jewelcollect) forum, etc. she did answer questions.

If you click on "Home" at the top of the page, there are many more albums about Haskell. I clicked on the "Unsigned Haskell" because I thought I would find a match. Other albums about findings for unsigned pieces may help you.
