    That is certainly a beauty. I particularly love the way the roses are made, they look like real silk roses.

    This style became popular in the mid to late 1950s, when hats were falling out of favor. These just sat lightly atop the teased and puffed up hair styles and did not flatten out the ladies "dos". The style remained popular through the early-mid 1960s. So your hat could be anywhere from those time periods (50s or early 60s). I get a sense of late 1950s from this one, due to the roses being so especially lovely.

    Thank you so much for the information :) Yes, the flowers are lovely - they are so detailed! I got it along with this lovely hat for only $2 at an estate sale!
