What era is the tag?

Also, what is the "407" tag on the bottom?

Hi, I would date the dress to the 1950's by the highly fitted bodice, skirt shape and length and material used as well as the metal zip. It's never a good idea to date something based on the label alone.
where is that label located? It looks in a peculiar place.
the 407 tag could be a costume hirer's reference no.
