Help Authenticating Leonard Paris Dress

Hello,

I found this dress at my local thrift store. The tag doesn't seem to match any I saw on the Label Resource so I'm wondering if it's fake? Based on the stitching, I'm leaning towards fake. Any help appreciated!

Beautiful dress (and I have total nail envy!).

I think it's more recent, but it still has a great look. I know what you mean about the stitching but I think it sometimes can look wonky on jersey dresses.

There might be some others who can weigh in with more info. Nice find!

We can actually not authenticate items here on the forums. What I'll say: the labels look modern-ish, and our Label Resource focuses mostly on vintage, so it may be that we don't have always have modern labels on the Label Resource. It looks well-made, the labels look nice, not cheap, and there's an also not-cheap Riri zipper that has been sewn in by hand - probably not what you'd find on a cheaper fake.

While I am not able to comment on authenticity I will say that I have seen this label on Leonard dresses before, and yes more recent but I think 90's so possibly still within the realms of vintage (possibly not as I'm not familiar with modern labels and they could have stayed the same). The fabric has the typical Leonard signature to it, and the print is a good Leonard print.

90s Leonard. Research their ads, they had a bunch of them, sometimes you can trace the pattern and logo by it.
