Help: Chanel Skirt?

Hi There,

I just stumbled across this site in a bid to find information on a skirt I purchased a few years ago. I think it's Chanel. However, I have to no real vintage clothes knowledge and only really think it's Chanel because of the tag and zippers but who knows, it could just be fake. Any input would be appreciated!

Your lack of responses may be because we can't authenticate items here, as per the forum rules you agreed to when you joined the forum.

It's best to take it to an appraiser if you can, as a couple of photos aren't sufficient to indicate.

I can say that it's '80s or more modern, probably '90s - have you looked for similar styles online?

I think it is even more modern than that - made in the last 5 years I would say when the trend for these metal zips to be visible on the outside has come back into fashion.
The large white label is the sort usually found on sample garments. I suspect it was new when you purchased it.

As Nicole said we cannot authentic items here and its best to have it looked at. I also agree with Nicole that the style looks 80s /90s.
It is not unusual to find the large white hand written content labels.

The other label looks like it may be where the skirt was sold (Bergdorf Goodman?) - if so, they may be able to help you.
