Help dating 40s (?) dress

    Hi all!

    one of three posts for today, this is the most interesting one

    This dress feels crepe-y and has a side brass zipper and the label as shown

    lacy bottom half of the skirt, gathering at the neckline and cuffs and lace trim

    is this a 40s dress maybe? what style would you call it?

    I definitely see 1940s. It looks more like a day dress but with the lace that makes it somewhat dressier, so perhaps a supper or cocktail party dress.
