Help dating a dress "Melody Ann Fashions"

    What era do you think this dress is from? 80's or earlier? Label seems older. Haven't really found much about the brand, Melody Ann Fashions. The little crystals are attached by metal grommets instead of being glued on, which I have seen on earlier garments. Thoughts? Thank you in advance!

    Thank you Mary Jane for your response! I thought 80's too, but the font on the label just "looked" older, thank you for the reassurance!

    I also see 80's, the font reminds me of the Joseph Ribkoff label (used from the 60s-current)
