Help dating a wool cape

Into the void

Registered Guest
Any information about this cape I picked up? I couldn't find much about the company but that's probably because I can't really read the stitched typography. How do I go about dating this thing? Any help would be neat! Also sorry for the pantsless mannequin I didn't feel like dressing her bottom half

Chippewa Woolen jackets, shirts and capes are quite popular with certain collectors and wearers. Some feel they are similar in quality to Pendleton woolens although not quite. Your capelet looks early to mid 1950s to me. Of course, others may come along with more information. I really like it.
