help dating blouse - 20s? 30s?

    hello! any help dating this blouse would be much appreciated - the buttons are not original to the top. puffed shoulder - some pin tucking. sheer fabric, any guesses on what type that would be? thank you!

    shirt is extremely petite and delicate - did not want to place on dress form nervous emoti

  2. It is hard to see the details on the black background. IT may even be 70s doing 30s, but i cant tell by these photos

    It could be 70s doing 30s, but I think it's original - I would expect the collar to be bigger for the early 70s, also the floral print is more typical of the late 30s, or even just into the early 40s.

    Are you in Europe? The blouse doesn't look like American construction to me - maybe English or continental?

    Im based in America - New York. Thank you very much for your help, it's amazing you can tell where it originated from by looking at the seam work! This blouse came with a few other pieces all packed away in a box.
