Help Dating Brimaco Leather Jacket

Hello VFG!

I recently purchased this Brimaco leather jacket along with a lot of other clothing from a film wardrobe auction, was hoping someone could help me date it and identify the style/name of the jacket. The zipper is made by "Talon" which I've read means it's 70s-80s?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Very nice. I concur with what has already been shared. In fact, when searching for comparisons, I happened upon a 70s Brimaco Leather Racer Jacket currently being offered by one of our members who replied here.
I would not refer to yours as a racer jacket because it does not have a standing collar, but here’s a link to poppysvintageclothing’s listing so you can see a 70s Brimaco leather jacket with the same label.
Additionally, here’s a February 16th, 1978 newspaper ad that shows motorcycles and contest details in a box on the same page with Brimaco leather jackets being one of the prizes.
