Help Dating Coat - 40s or 50s?

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

I’m hoping you might be willing to weigh in on whether or not you think this coat dates from the 40s or 50s. It’s a lovely coat – robin’s egg blue with textured gray stripes, shawl collar, slightly flared sleeves, double welt pockets, underarm gussets, terrific mitering, clutch style. I was leaning toward the early 50s, but the other label I've seen online for a Continental coat that's styled by De Groot is clearly a more recent label, leaving me to opt for an earlier 40s date for the coat. Any ideas?

Thank you, Mary Jane! Sadly it has a few little moth dings, but these are inconspicuous enough to still let the coat shine through.
