Hi Ernie, I am not the expert in Victorian dress that some members are, but my thought is 1880s for all your photos. Just a starting place.

Hi,

Thread 1 I think the earliest, late 1870s, Thread 2 1885, basing that on the dresses, the pattern upholstery on both the foot stool and low chair is earlier. Thread 3, that is throwing me a little, I think at the very turn of the 20th century when taken, the costumes and ladies hats are a little earlier, 1895, the man's Darby hat, 1890. The property, judging by window glass design and gilding, 1825.

Thanks all... This is very helpful.

Of course the upholstery in the photo would be owned by the photography studio so could be several years old. I may have a new lead on the age of this one and will report back just for an FYI for anyone who is interested. The seated lady is my grandfathers sister and she signed as a witness to the marriage of the couple standing. The lady standing is my great grandfather's sister-in-law (he married her sister). I am in contact with her great grandson who believes this was take at the time she was married as it is believed that the paper in the had of the gent in the hat is the license. So I think this mystery is solved. Just need to figure the other two out.

Yes but photography studios of the time were on the ball and not wanting background to dated, unless asked for, but yes the furniture is earlier.
