Help Dating Eaton's Wool Princess Coat

Wondering if this is 50s or 60s? Something about it feels a little newer.

It doesn't look like it has been altered at all.

It looks early 50s to me as well. I was wondering too if it had been hemmed up some. The photo you show of the lining shows the lining looking a bit bunched up.

It looks too short to me for early 50s - I am thinking more middly...

When I looked at the wool hem seam it looked very nicely done/finished, but now I have flipped up the lining hem and looked at it's backside and it looks a tad rough. Sorry about that, just assumed the lining inside hemming would be one as nicely as the wool....my bad....so early 50s and shortened?

I actually remember wearing princess styled coats as a little girl in the late 50s, they did not have that sort of collar.
