any help dating this piece would be appreciated. appears to be plastic, almost seems like celluloid? also, does anyone know what the brass barrel piece might be called? thank you!
Those plastic beads are kind of fused to the string, rather than strung onto it, yes? I would date it as approximately mid/late 1960s. My grandmother had several of these necklaces, so I recognize the type. Definitely not celluloid. Regular plastic--but cute!
