Help dating Whiting Davis mesh bag

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone can help me date this Whiting Davis mesh bag... I've seen some conflicting info and now I'm confused as to when it is from.
It is quite small, measuring about 3" high x 3.5" wide at bottom.
It is stamped 2962 on the inside which I thought would be a clue...

Whiting & Davis has a nice page about their history with loads of photos that you might find interesting.

i tend to lean to the 50s for this smaller size with the die cut frame, but let's see what others have to say. it is lovely, congratulations on your find!
