HElP Fuller fabrics modern masters dress?

I really need help finding more information about this fabric. I have reached out to other people who own similar looking vintage pieces and they will not tell me anything but proceeded to try to buy it off me without telling me what I truly have.

I believe what I have here could be a Marc Chagall fuller fabrics modern masters print dress. I have no selvage on the dress but it looks very very similar to other prints of dresses inspired by his art.

The dress construction itself seems to be almost exactly like a Suzanne perette pattern from the 50s.

Please help I am currently scanning the internet and all info on him also looking for history on this companies release of these fabrics

OMG u guys I really think my dress is genuine. I was jumping up and down screaming lol

Should I bother contacting museums?

I think it needs to be in one and not worn.

Hi thank you!! I have tried to read this before but I don't know how to access it. I click the link and its blank. I can see the thumbnail of the life magazine. Maybe it'll work on my pc? I'm on my phone now

I would prefer to sell this to a collector. How would I go about finding them? Any tips?

Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed my paper. I wasn't sure how my offerings might be received. The Fabric Notes of a Collector paper may be even more informative about the different Fuller Fabrics fabrics.

I am so glad you posted here @don hoffmann ! My apologies for not answering your email yet - I have gotten a bit under water the last few weeks between one thing and another. I will pass it along to the appropriate volunteer today.
