What a great photo. I am not sure what you are referring to, but I see what looks like a flower stuck in her waist, and a button trim flange or button trimmed pocket.

Thank you for answering. Just an unusual spot for any type of embellishment at her torso above the waistline.

Like Barbara, I see a flower: perhaps a token that she received from her paramour?

It is an unusual place to put it but I'm unable to think of anything else that it could be.
