Help identifying logo on leather purse, please

Hi - I've been given a leather purse, that I think it vintage. It is beautifully made, and I'd like to find out more about the maker. It has no tags, but has got a logo embossed on the front. I've been through the label resource for W and F (my best guesses at what the logo might be designed around), and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction please.

I unfortunately don't know this logo (but then there are so many companies out there that made handbags and on which it is hard to find any information at all), but the bag itself looks 1970s to me.

Hi - thanks for your reply. I thought probably 70s, so it's good to get your impression on that, and I guess the fact that you don't recognise the logo means that it isn't a famous maker, which is also useful in a way .

Great site, by the way, love the resources that you've collated.
