Hello everyone!
I'm new to this forum and would very much appreciate some help identifying a reversible trench coat I recently bought.
It has no brand labels but does have one tag inside a pocket specifying the fabric to be a blend of acetone, poliestere, and pura lana vergine which leads me to believe it's Italian possibly from the 80s.
After I bought it I also found a 1000 Lira bill dated from 1990 in one of the pockets which is not only a huge coincidence but also an indicator for when the coat was worn last.
Other than that I really have nothing to go off of. There is a very fine print on one of the tags reading "Cheby s.a.s. — Empoli", but a quick Google search doesn't lead to that being a brand. It is possible that I spelled it wrong as it's very difficult to read. Empoli however seems to be a town in Italy.
I'd be happy for any pointers on this!
