Help identifying type of fur

I recently inherited a fur coat from my great aunt and I'm trying to work out what kind of fur it is.

I don't really know anything about fur so I've been reading the guides on this website and others, but I'm struggling. I assumed it was a type of rabbit, but when I've looked at some mink coats, I started to wonder (hopefully, if I'm being honest).

Also, it has my great aunt's name embroidered on the lining, and I'm wondering whether I should unpick that (carefully) if I decide to sell it. Or would that be a bad idea?

Sorry to jump on your thread.. But i’m also looking for some advise on fur type and unsure how to post a new thread. (New to site) I picked up a beautiful Grosvenor Canada jacket and was wondering what fur this could be. My thoughts are mink or coyote but I’m no expert. Thank you for any help.
