Help me identify fur

I received a fur hat and I don't know what animal it came from. The previous owner is dead. I know that it was a rare animal. The name of it was hard to remember. I know it isn't a raccoon or skunk or a badger. Any help would be appreciated. The fur is much longer on the tail part.

It is in the Civet family and is also known as Spotted Skunk.
