OK clever people - I have been asked to write a gardening column for a monthly newspaper. My business is Amanda's Greenhouses and Perennials and my first column is on "What's new for the 2008 garden." I'll be writing about low-maintenance perennials - under used flowers - the best cut flowers - that kind of thing. (I live in zone 4 and this will be for area folks.)

So - any ideas beyond - Amanda's Gardening Column - ? and then my mind goes "Dirty Words from Amanda." No, I guess not....

Even worse (better?)

Down in the Dirt with The Garden Hoe

:P

Actually, Jonathan's is quite good.

Sorry.

Nice one Jonathan.

Editor's never like my suggestions.... I wanted to call my book on fashion during World War II 'WARdrobe', but that didn't go over well... My editor had good reason though - because it doesn't translate for foreign language editions and it has already been presold to France. I actually am seriously suggesting The Garden Hoe -- for those who don't get it, its unoffensive, and for those who do, its cute - not vulgar.
