LOL, OK- with my big 'ole feet, it's probably not a bad thing but over the past year, I find my feet have been shrinking. Not in length but in width. All through my teenage years and in my 20's, I've always had wide feet, about a D width. But slowly, I find myself wearing narrower width shoes or going down one (even two sometimes) sizes, just to get a smaller width! Vintage shoes are fitting me and then I got these vintage late 50's Joseph Larose stilettos today....
They are about a UK size 8 (US 10) but they measure a mere 2 7/8" across the inside ball of the foot. The smallest so far I have worn has been 3 1/4". They fit and are snug and comfy!
Now osteoporosis runs in my family but heck, I'm only 31 and why the heck would it only affect my feet?!! Is this normal, has anyone else had this happen to them?
My riding boots that I bought in 1996 are swimming on me so I'm going to have to get a new pair now too.
I don't know whether I should be concerned or shouting with glee from the rooftops!
