I like to think l am of course, but l think l've mellowed, some, but on occassion, l get very enthusiastic about something and she comes on out. Thing is my immediate family are very dour, the very scottish side of the family, l'm of french/italian temperment so its kinda tempered ove rthe years, l'm not allowed to act out....and neither of my kids appear to have it...maybe they;ll have a more balanced life cos their emotions are not out there!!

l think l'll have to make a resolution to not be so absorbed with self image in future!
I still like the dots with the flirty hem, too. Wanting to look good is a good thing.

You look great in both, but I vote for the dots! Also - I think you may like that look better if you push the sleeves on the cardi up to 3/4. Unless that's too casual for where you're going.
And - have you got a chunky necklace you can wear with it? I see monstrous pearls...
The brown & purple looks fabulous on you with your coloring. And, on your "Big 5-Oh!" ya oughtta do something a bit daring, even if it only means mixing prints.
I threw my own party & wore something that was probably intended for a 25 year old, btw.

I have plans....I shall have a tattoo, but havent worked out which of three l'll have...maybe all three...need to go there and check out the pain situation....
