Help! What’s the best description for this 1950s Melbray dress fabric

Hi All on this sunny sunday

I’m just trying to describe this lovely 1950s sundress (from Melbray) - I’m pretty certain it’s cotton, but it seems to have a bit of a sheen to it so I wondered if there is a more specific term I can use? Sateen? Glazed cotton or something else entirely? Perhaps just plain cotton! The last photo probably shows it the best…
