I have these 2 pairs of vintage shoes and would love some dating help. The black ones are grosgrain and suede or a suede-like material from Saks Fifth Ave, and the pinkish ones are fabric, by Sylvia's of Kings Highway (?) with a hand-written size on the inside of the heel. I'm guessing they're 50s to 60s...? Thank you!
I'd put them both around 1956/57. The second pair (which have been dyed) look like slub silk to me. They may have been bridal shoes which were later repurposed, or just purchased and dyed to match a particular outfit.
