Help with a vintage (maybe) Polo pullover

Found this Polo Ralph Lauren rugby 1/4 button pullover at a Thrift store today. It's an ivory color and the part around the collar and the bottom of the shirt is sort of gray. I've looked on ebay and other reselling platforms for another example of this, but i can't find any. Is this real/fake? Vintage? Any advice on how I might find out?
