Help with Blue Horseshoe Brand/Patwin Zipper

I have a pair of jeans with the only identifying items are a Blue Horseshoe Brand button and a Patwin zipper. I can't find info on either. Curious about dating this item. Unfortunately the Blue Horseshoe logo pic won't upload to the site (says it is corrupted) but it is the same color as the zipper and has an upside down horseshoe with Blue Horseshoe Brand inside the horseshoe. Thanks in advance for any help!
