    Good morning/afternoon/night,

Just found a bunch of 80s/90s clothes at a local charity (paid a bargain for it, actually), some of them are probably older. I did a little research on this skirt. The fabric is super stretchy and the waist is super high. The label (which to me looks a lot like 1980s) is from a designer/stylist in my town. In Brazil, one of the ways to date a piece of clothing is to look for the ’CGC’, which is a registry that was used between 1964-1998. Even though this skirt doesn't have it, I looked up the designer’s CGC (now CNPJ) and it was registered in 2001. Since she’s a local stylist/designer, I assume there a probability that she designed this skirt in the 80s without being registered. Am I wrong? Thanks for any help.

  2. 2000s I think. I can see why you think '80s but we didn't have skirts like this, in this fabric and construction (no seam allowance) in the '80s and it's unlikely she'd be designing under that label for two decades or more before registering it.

If it's the same Regina Misk that has reginamisk.com, she's an interesting knitwear designer who probably isn't old enough to have had her own label in the '80s.
