hi i bough this fur coat at a carboot sale in the summer only paid a couple of pounds for it i am not clued up on fur and did not realise it was real i thought it was fake until a friend said it looks real ive looked under the lining and it is attached to skin could someone possibly tell me what animal it is please ive tried to compare on line and the closest i can get is mink or muskrat thankyou just to add there are no labels on the coat could you also possibly tell me which year it is please .
Hi, you were thinking right. It's muskrat that's been dyed to look like mink and it dates to the 60s.
