Help with saying Superfit half slip

Any ideas as to the age of this half slip? I googled the brand and posted listings all say 1940s. Tag says Superfit Nylon by Superior. US patent pending. Length is 28 inches, so below knee and in keeping with skirt lengths in the 40s. Style seems more modern than the 40s though.

Here is a bit of a 1948 advertisement for a Superfit whole slip, which has the lace at the bottom , with the ribbon beading above. The somewhat-blurred text says:

"It's a season when new fashions make new and thrillingly different Easter gifts. Of lovely lingerie with romance and sentiment of bygone days. It's dawn of a revived era . . . when feminine charm comes in on the rustle of a ruffle . . . the peep of a petticoat!

a. Camisole Slip---Superfit . . . in exquisite multi-filament crepe. Victorian-lovely with its lavish lace camisole bodice and flounce, precious with satin ribbon beading. Pink, blue, white. 32 to 38. 4.95
