Hi! I picked up this navy blue chiffon silk scarf at a secondhand store known for its designer inventory. The only tag is a metal gold-toned circular charm with a ladybug on one side and "All Silk", "Hand Rolled", and Vera's signature on the other side. Note that there is no copyright symbol, and the ladybug is not hand drawn, unlike Vera's "lucky ladybug". Is this scarf authentic? If so, when was this type of tag used?

I have a solid colored Vera scarf with the same tag. I believe it's a way to identify solid colored Vera scarves since there's no Vera signature on them. I would safely date it in the 1970s.

Thank you. That makes sense. It’s always a relief to hear I haven’t been tricked!
