Help with Vintage Jewelry!

These area few thing from my week of shopping, but I'm having trouble dating them...

First is a brass cuff with leaf decoration - my thought was 30's-40's?
The second is a Mexican silver bracelet with carved green onyx (hallmarked with unknown maker) - 40's?
Lastly is a pendant with a Griffin, pearl and some orange stone/glass - has a victorian feel...

I would love to hear your thoughts!

The cuff leaves do resemble several 1930s dress clips I've seen.
If you turn the bracelet around the carved stones look like tribal masks!

I'm not very knowledgeable about Mexican jewelry but the bracelet gives me a '50's feeling. If you can show a close-up of the mark, probably someone who knows Mexican jewelry can help you date it. I don't think the cuff is '30s - again I'm seeing '50s. I can't see the pendant well enough to make a guess. Could you turn it right size up and get closer? Do you think the pearl is real and do you think it's mounted in gold rather than gold colored metal?

Hi! Sorry for the late response - been a busy week!
I tried to get a few more close ups of the pendant. Looking at it closer, I don't think its gold or gold fill, rather just gold colored metal and the seed pearl is so small its difficult to say if it is real, but I'm guessing not real?

Firstly a chrome? pin with a cherry? Completely stumped on this one. Art Deco? 50's? The cherry is not stone, bakelite, wood or glass., not sure what it is!

Next, is this awesome chain, looks to be handmade? Very complex design within each link, not sure of the metal, but it is not silver.
The only mark is on one jump ring and reads MADE IN GERMANY

I would love any help with information on these!!

I am wondering if this piece came off of a 1950's charm bracelet???? They used to use a lot of charms with this type of ancient motif and I wouldn't term the pearl to be a "seed" pearl.....those would be a bit smaller and usually set differently(not in prongs). The metal could be brass, but would have to look at it with a loupe. You can usually tell if it's plated by examining it under a loupe to check for signs of plating loss or wear. Could be a gold plated brass or pot metal. For some reason, I'm just thinking it came off of something else and maybe wasn't a stand alone pendant. Could be wrong about it, though.....just a feeling. The red round stone looks like faux Carnelian....red glass made to look like the real stone. Also, typical of charms on bracelets from 50's and 60's. It's so pretty.....I do have a fondness for Griffins!

On the choker....I have had some pieces similar that were marked Germany and they look so much like sterling, but were actually heavily silver plated brass! I have one pendant that bears the Coro stamp, but also, is stamped Germany and it is definitely plated......I have louped it and could detect that it was plated. But they look exactly like solid sterling pieces. It's so hard to tell by a photo, but this could be the case with this choker.....whenever I see "Germany", I sometimes think SP. I love these types of pieces and have some in my personal collection! As for the pin.....it could be German, too. Did you get them from the same seller at the same time? I have seen chrome pieces from Germany with the Art Deco look. As for the cherry....could it be Coral? You say it's not Bakelite.....have you tested it? And, then some things don't test yellow with Simichrome and even hot water doesn't bring out the smell. Giving it a good rub for the smell would be difficult because of it's small size.

The catch on the cuff makes me wonder if maybe it is from the 1940's....at first glance I was thinking '50's as Linn said. The Mexican bracelet seems to be 1950's to me, also.

I love the chain! I think both the pin and the choker are 1950's. The pin does look like chrome. My first thought on the cherry was Bakelite and agree with Bonnie that red sometimes does not test - no matter what! If it's German it could be another type of plastic like Galalith. Is it warm or cold to the touch and what does it sound like if you click it? Bonnie's theory on the griffin pendant is very possible!

The chain might be nickel or an alloy. It is done in a 1930's style. However, I have seen a number of German pieces that are done in the Art Deco style but made post WWII and look earlier. If the choker were from the 1930's it would probably be marked "Germany" not "Made in Germany."
