Here Is My Own Vintage Charm Bracelet. Show Me Yours.

Discussion in 'PUBLIC Show and Tell - Share your treasures' started by vintageclothes-line, Jun 17, 2005.

  1. I would never sell it. Took me awhile to acquire all of these charms in high school. It is 14K white gold.

Wish I never had. However, I did save the charms and finally bought a small charm bracelet and put them back on. Would like a wider one like my white gold one.

  4. I would love to see your Mom's. All of these (except the yellow gold bracelet) are from the 60s.

  5. Yikes, I just did a search on Ebay for a gold charm bracelet to replace that skinny one. They are selling without any charms for $500-$600!

Here's my silver one. I got the bracelet and 4 charms the Christmas I was 11, so that would be 1966. 2 of the original charms are still on it, the heart & hands and the wishing well. The little girl's head has my name engraved on it, and was originally on a bracelet we had made for my grandmother. When she died we split the bracelet up and gave everyone his or her head! Most of the rest of them have been added during various travels. It's fun to wear, but a little loud!

This gold one I started about 10 years ago. I got a lot of these in Italy and Greece. The newest one is the gold globe. My class gave it to me for my retirement.

And this last one is my "retirement necklace" made from charms some of the little girls gave me. Interesting - a pink martini and a margarita for the teacher!

Oh, I'll have to go through my jewlery box.....

Lizzie, did you scan your bracelets? The charms are so clear....I should give that a try before I try to take photos....

    Be back later.....

Here's mine...I have a gold one somewhere, too. One of my girls might have it coz it wasn't in my box. :USEROCKY:

This one is from the 70's and into the 80's. Two of my daughters face charms came off and I need to attach them.

I love the noise it makes when it's worn.

Chris, love that charm belt! What a great idea for a regular chain belt.

It is so interesting to see all the different bracelets and charms (too cute on the martini ones Lizzie!)

I have a silver one from the 60s and an intricate wide 14K one from the
70s - will have to dig them up and scan them.
