Wow, that is absolutely beautiful! I don't have any info right now, but I'm going to do some research and circle back.

I am finding it is probably a Persian Qum Rug made of wool and silk. There are several other similar designs, and they are not necessarily vintage, but that really depends on where and when you got it. Here are a few (vintage and non) with links.

It is lovely. It appears ion the photos to be a cut pile rug, not hand knotted. So it is likely a take off on a true Persian Qum rug.
