I thought I remembered a similar question before, and found this earlier thread from the late Claire Schaeffer. I often think of her when I have queries about couture items, and it's good to know she is still helping us with her knowledge!

As far as I can see, your Givenchy label appears in the VFG Label Resource, courtesy of @augustac - from a 1980s 'demi-couture' skirt - this would tie in with what Claire mentioned about the label not actually being couture, although perhaps there was some hand finishing to the garment.
