My friend, Matthew Brown, who lives in France specializes in buttons. He is an active member of the National Button Society (NBS) and attends all their shows as a vendor and he participates in the competitons. He was a scheduled speaker for this year's show, which of course, was cancelled. So he compiled three Youtube talks for the "NBS No Button Show" on the development of casein buttons, which initially were buttons made from milk, after the protein had been removed.

I Haven't watched much of them, but someone out there might be interested in these vintage buttons. Meanwhile, the last time I saw Matthew he had short hair and was clean shaven. This is the pandemic Matthew! I rather like it :)
