I know its a long shot, but does anyone recognise this coat?

Hi all

I came across this red duffel /batwing coat hybrid, fell in love and bought it despite it breaking my cardinal rule and having no brand, size or care labels! Its lined in plaid and appears reasonably well made and is actually obe of those intriguing coats that looks much nicer on than it did on the hanger...

Intriguingly, it did come with a pair of red leather gloves in the pocket (and some tissues, which we shall gloss over).

Its probably nothing special, but if anyone recognises the cut/shape and can point me in the direction, I would love to know a bit more about it.

In my experience, older pieces are less likely to have those kinds of labels. They frequently came with hang tags instead. Is it by any chance reversible? That could be another reason for no tags. If it is reversible, check inside the pockets.

Thanks for your reply - Its definitely not reversible - and I checked in the pockets (which was when I found the gloves!). I think this is going to remain one of those ‘nice coats, no idea what it is’ mysteries...
