Thanks for all the nice comments, you guys!
Linn, it is indeed the same format/event presentation, and I imagine it will be packed at that location. El Paseo Village is a bit more off the radar, so I was able to arrive early, and get that seat. The event of course, is open to the public, while purchases needed to be made, to secure the VIP signing/picture party. This included delicious adult libations, and yummy food on trays, from the El Paseo restaurants, which I very much enjoyed.
I wore my Trina Turk dress, and received a number of compliments, including from Tim and Leah. We discussed whether I might also purchase the dress in red, and Tim's advice, which he gave during the Q & A, is always to try things on. He also feels that red dresses can be problematic, especially in terms of accessories, and I was telling them that it was more of an orange red, which I thought would actually look great on Leah. And then, since I am still talking about my Claire McCardell monastic, I mentioned that I had three McCardells, and Tim was fairly incredulous, especially when he learned where I'd found them. I arranged to email photos (via Leah), as I would like him to see it, and to have his thoughts about it. It is so refreshing to meet people who speak the language of fashion!
I was really happy I attended, as it was a wonderfully uplifting afternoon, with perfect weather. Tim radiates such a positive energy!

Carrie, I am so glad you like your 'new' squirrel pants! I hope you'll have a blast wearing them! Thank you for letting me know.
