I need help dating 505 Levi's!

Hello folks! My first time posting here. I purchased a pair of 505 Levi's and have been trying to date them using data from the internet. Lots of confusing info there. Best I can tell is they were made in 1991. Thoughts, questions?

I also find dating Levi's via the numbers kind of confusing but I think you're right that these were made in 91. That would be my best guess if I found these and were trying to date them by the numbers and other factors. I did a quick search on Newspapers.com and the wording "original red tab" in conjunction with the 505 was used A LOT in the late 80s and early 90s. Also, the fact they were made in the US suggests that these are early 90s. They're a great find!
