Ice Princess-- another flowy 70\'s dress needs help!

Not sure what it is with me and these long flowy 70's dresses lately. I go through phases, what can I say? Even picked up another soft sage one, today, with an Eva Gabor for Estevez label.

ANYWAY!!
this one caries a tag reading Ingenue. The material is really incredible. It's ALMOST sheer-- and has a luminescence to it. Very shimmery.
It's a wrap dress, so it's very flatteringly fitted at the waist.

Although I'm somehow enchanted by this dress, I can't think of any good keywords for it....

Help?

That sure is pretty!

What is that neck treatment called? its like a capelet?

there is a fabric called bridal something or other? bridal sheer? bridal mesh? - i can't remember it..but its white and has that shimmery quality to it, but it doesn't have the "holes" like mesh, but it is extremely sheer. its on the tip of my tongue!

The movement of the dress almost reminds me of some of the dresses I did once for A Midsummer Night's Dream. This would be the 70s version.
I would use "ethereal" and "luminous" in there somewhere. Its like a dress for an angel or fairy queen. The shimmer could be "like morning dew" "moon dew" "liquid moonlight" (afterall, in movies, when it is night time the sky is dk blue, not black : ) )

It would be excellent for dance - maybe for a summer wedding or a cruise as i imagine it would look amazing moving around on the dance floor.
The shoulder treatment is good as this would be worn when you might normally wear say a dress with spaghetti straps, but this one gives unstuffy details without feeling so bare.

Definitely use ethereal. No longer hooked up with
sellathon, but that was a good keyword when I had the
trial membership.

Floaty, faerie, otherworldly, mystical, Shakesperean Nights....you could go several ways with this gown, but I
would play up the fairy-tale aspect of it.

Ohhh Chris.. I know the material you're talking about, although I have no idea what it's called. It's kinda like that in appearance.. but.. less stiff?? (At least.. less stiff than the stuff I'm thinking of!) Plus.. this material also has an almost crepe-like texture. It's so odd. The color is so saturated, too.. really neat.

Sue-- ethereal is one of the words I had thought of for this, too--- I had no idea people actually searched with it! Neat :-)

You both are so much more creative than I am with themes and inspirations! I get so "matter of fact" in my descriptions. Just the facts, M'am.
I'm jealous.
When I'm more awake, maybe I'll go in with some creative revisions :-)

Sue - that sounds right...Illusion Bridal.

Kristine - its not a lack of creativity - its just that when you have an item you just stare at it too long. we are all looking with fresh eyes and nothing preconceived. there are a lot of things that other people have better ideas about that i have than I do. MANY times.
