Identifying a vintage tote bag

Hi all, I came across a vintage, canvas tote bag that I fell in love with. It doesn't have any labels on the bag, but appears to be an imitation of a Gucci style. The zipper is made by Swift and is brass in color. Based on what I'm seeing on Google, the zipper dates it to the the 50s or 60s.

Can anyone tell me more about the bag or where else to look?

That's a nice bag.

I'm always wary of dating by zip, it is an effective method and sometime the only one but I remain cautious.

I can't see 50s or 60s, late 70s onwards.

I also think modern with the info so far (outside chance of 80s), definitely emulating Gucci with that classic stripe. It is genuine leather trim? or faux? Can you show some close ups of the stitching and rivets?
