Hi! It's been a couple weeks since I have visited the guild forums, life has been quite hectic and selling has too =) (this is a good thing!)

I wanted to let everyone know that I have officially changed my Ebay store name from Intoxikitty Vintage to Luxe Vintage Boutique We have also started working on our new website Luxe Vintage that we are hoping to have up by the end of May 2008 for now we are up and running a main page that simply links to our Ebay Store. I don't want to post any links to the website because I'm not sure if it's kosher to do that here on the forums.

Why are we changing our name?
As much as we liked our name Intoxikitty Vintage, it was hard for people to remember, spell and frankly some people just didn't like it. We also sell men's items and some men were put off by the girly nature of the name and logos. Also we have had the website Luxe Vintage for a while and planned to eventually change the name to match the website anyway, so now is better time than ever right?

We wilkl still be offering the same great vintage from the 1930s - 1980s and probably expanding as we go to more eras being included. We will also expand to bring handmade related crafts and beauty products from Pandora Products/Plush Pussycat line in the future as well, if all goes well we would also like to offer other retro related beauty and bath items to our shop! We will also continue to sell on Ebay (not nearly as much, but will offer some of our items there because we still love the excitement of auctions!) and Specialist Auctions as well as possibly listing on alternative venues.

We want to thank our previous customers for shopping with us and hope to see more of you in the future. All auctions being won now are getting a "10% off next bid or purchase" coupons in their packages and every week we offer a couple lucky winners "Free Shipping on next purchase" vouchers in their packages as well. When we fully launch our website we will be having a big sale which we will let you all know about.

I like both - but it does get confusing when you combine words - maybe also secure the domain for "Lux Vintage" to catch those who misspell?

it's already taken by a spam search engine =( Oh well. Funny a couple days after i bought the domain I got a frantic offer in my email to buy it from me. I entertained it and asked them what their offer was. It was $150 LOL! Yeah...don't think so. I have had a few of these offers here and there for my domains, all for $150, some I sell, some I don't, depends if I am actively using it or not.

Anyhoo, I tried to buy what I could that was close, but i don't know if I'll be a huge corporation or anything, so I'm not going crazy with the domain buying hehe.

I wouldn't worry too much about the men being turned off by Glamourpuss, i think the "kitty" part was the dealbreaker. Plus if that was the only reason alone, i wouldn't have changed it, i have a laundry list of reasons why. I love your name, now make a martini for me too! I need one after all the Ebay changes and fee hikes I am trying to get used to! :trashpc:
